The Bloomfield Baseball League
The Bloomfield Baseball League is the official Bloomfield Parks and Recreation partner for baseball in Bloomfield Hills and West Bloomfield. The Bloomfield Baseball League has proudly served the Bloomfield community for over 65 years. The 2025 season is the 66th year of baseball in the community!
We offer Spring (April-June) and Summer (June-July) seasons of co-ed recreational baseball for pre-K through 6th grade players. The season for middle and high school players starts at the beginning of June and runs through July. Skills development academies are offered throughout the year. Click here for more information.
We offer travel baseball through the Bloomfield Sting program. Tryouts for Sting take place throughout July and early August.
Register: BBL Skills Clinics
Small group skills clinics focused on one core area per month. Players will be grouped by age and skill level within each session. Each month will include Four 1-hour sessions focused on a particular skill area. April - Throwing/Pitching May - Hitting June - Fielding July - Combo All sessions led by professional training coaches with a 5:1 player to coach ratio. Baseball Training Opportunities
The BBL Academies & BBL Skills Clinics are a great way for your baseball player to develop their skills and get ready for the 2025 Season!
- BBL Skills Clinics: Led by Coach Brett Borrocci and professional training staff with a 5:1 player to coach ratio for all sessions. Sessions are focused on development of foundational baseball skills including Pitching/Catching/Throwing, Hitting/Baserunning, Fielding, and Baseball IQ.
- BBL Academies: Led by Bloomfield Hills High School and Bloomfield Sting Coaches and High School Players. We have age/skill appropriate instruction for players aged pre-K through 8th Grade. Players are separated by age and skill into small groups and receive personalized instruction on Hitting, Fielding, Throwing, Baserunning, and Pitching/Catching. Sessions include whiffle ball game play and home run derby!
